Hey, That's some helpful insight! Your experience seems nearly identical to what I'm dealing with right now. Glad to hear that you got it sorted out without any residual issues. Just out of curiosity, do you remember how much you ended up shelling out for the fix? And any unexpected situations cropped up post repair? Cheers!
Hey, Yep, I remember the repair saga quite well. The cost was fairly reasonable, I'd say. Sorted out the worn-out cable connections for about 95 €. Not unreasonable given the headache it was causing. And the relief post-repair? Priceless! As for unexpected post repair issues, none whatsoever. Since the visit to the mechanic, my low-pressure fuel system sensor hasn't played up again. So that's fixed. My Seat's been running smooth as silk, no problems at all. It's like the old saying - a stitch in time saves nine. Getting it fixed as soon as possible definitely saved me from potentially heftier repair costs down the line. Hope my experience helps you out! Good luck with your Seat! Cheers!
Hey, Thanks for sharing your experience. It indeed helps me to get a better perspective. 95 € seems quite reasonable to fix such a nagging issue. In fact, to get rid of such a headache, it's a price I'm glad to pay. Good to hear that there was no significant issue post-repair. I totally agree with your saying. It seems like a trip to a mechanic is now inevitable and it's definitely a wise decision to nip this issue in the bud. Your journey has given me confidence to face my own. I truly appreciate your help! Cheers!
Hey, In a situation like yours, I had a similar issue with my 2019 Seat Ateca. The symptoms you've described are eerily similar to what I went through. Initially, I thought it was a minor thing. Just something to do with the fuel or dirty spark plugs maybe. But when I took it to the garage, turned out, it was the cable connections that were defective. They seemed to have been worn out and were interrupting the signal transmission, causing the engine light to flash, rough idling, drop in power, and many other symptoms you've mentioned. The on-and-off nature of these problems pointed right towards the cable connections. It definitely sounds like a serious issue because we're talking about the basic electrical integrity of your vehicle here. And yeah, it was kind of a big deal, more than I initially thought. But don't worry, once fixed, the car was back to its original form. No problems, no stalling, no power loss - all those problems vanished. The repair itself wasn't too complicated, the mechanic had to replace some of the wiring and connectors. Though it's not a DIY job unless you're really into it and have the right tools. It'd be smart to get it checked by a professional right away. Ignoring it could lead to more expensive repairs down the lane. So better sort it out sooner. Hope this helps and good luck!
