Door sensor? Where is that located, and is it easy to get to? I'm wondering if I can fix it myself, or if this is too much for me.

It's a pain to reach. Honestly, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. Mine was the same, and it was a defective plug connection. Cost me 95€ to get fixed.

Workshop it is. I appreciate the insight - I'll let you know how it goes. It was a faulty cable, just like you said, so you saved me money, as they didn't need to spend hours looking for the issue! Finally got it fixed.

I had a similar issue with my Altima. I believe it's related to the door switch or the wiring harness that controls the automatic locks. Have you checked the door sensor?
