Altima radar sensor malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Nissan Altima experienced a radar sensor malfunction, indicated by an error on the speedometer and a warning light. The issue was likely caused by dirt or obstructions on the sensor, located behind the front bumper near the grille. Cleaning the sensor with a soft, damp cloth resolved the problem, and a subsequent calibration by a technician ensured proper functioning.

Where is the radar sensor located, and how do I check it? What cleaning agents are safe to use?

On my Altima, it's behind the front bumper, near the grille. Check for dirt, mud, or debris. Use a soft, damp cloth, no harsh chemicals. If it's still happening, get it calibrated by a technician.

It was a dirty sensor! Cleaning it fixed the error. I had it calibrated at my workshop for 45€.

I've got a similar Altima and had a comparable radar sensor problem. Did you check the sensor itself for dirt or obstructions?
