Berlingo DPF Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Citroen Berlingo diesel is experiencing power loss and smoke, with diagnostics indicating a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) issue. The problem could be due to a clogged DPF or a faulty sensor. Cleaning the DPF might offer a temporary fix, but replacement is often necessary for a long-term solution.

Yes, the engine light is on, along with power reduction and smoke. Did you have similar symptoms with your Berlingo? What did you do, and what were the costs?

Yup, pretty much the same. Tried a DPF clean but it came back after a week. Bit the bullet and went to a workshop in the end. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

Thanks for sharing. Seems a workshop visit is needed. Further investigation indicates DPF replacement. It cost me 1550€.

Reduced power and smoke? Sounds familiar! I drive a Berlingo as well. Could your DPF be clogged? Have you checked the engine light?
