C1 Airbag Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Citroen C1 owner experienced an airbag fault indicated by a constantly lit warning lamp, suspecting a defective cable or plug. A suggestion was made to check the crash sensors, as a similar issue in another vehicle was caused by a corroded contact. It was recommended to visit a workshop for a thorough diagnosis and repair due to safety concerns. The issue was resolved at a shop, confirming a faulty connection as the cause.

Thanks for the info. I haven't checked the crash sensors specifically. Where are they usually located on a C1?

In my Astra, the sensor was inside the front bumper. Given the safety issues and possible airbag deployment, I'd suggest a workshop. They can diagnose it thoroughly and repair it with specialized tools. Better safe than sorry.

Okay, thanks. I took it to a shop and they found a faulty connection as suspected. 95€ later and it's sorted.

I once had a similar situation with my 2012 Opel Astra. The airbag light stayed on. Did you check the crash sensors? Mine had a corroded contact. Where's the airbag sensor located on your Citroen?
