C3 Power Windows Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Citroen C3 experienced a complete failure of the power windows, with fuses checked and an error code related to the window regulator found. The initial suspicion was a defective power window switch. A suggestion was made to inspect the wiring harness between the car body and the door for potential breaks, a common issue due to constant door movement. Ultimately, the problem was confirmed to be the power window switch, which was replaced, resolving the issue.

Thanks for the tip! I hadn't considered the wiring harness. Where exactly should I be looking for the break? Is it easily visible, or do I need to remove some trim to get a good look?

You'll need to peel back the rubber boot that protects the wires between the door and the frame. Usually, the break is right there where the wires flex. If it's not the wires themselves, it could be the regulator motor is shot. But honestly, with the error code and the switch being the simplest thing, probably worth getting a quote from a workshop.

Thanks a lot for your help! I took your advice and went to a mechanic. Turns out it was indeed the power window switch, like I initially suspected. They replaced it, and everything's working perfectly now. Cost me around 200€. Appreciate the insight about the wiring harness too; I'll keep that in mind for future troubleshooting!

Hey, I had a similar issue with my C3, although mine's a bit older. Check the wiring harness where it goes from the car body into the door. It's a common spot for wires to break due to constant opening and closing. Have you checked that?
