C4 Climate Control Failure
Summary of the thread
The climate control panel on a 2015 Citroen C4 was completely non-functional, with an error indicating low heating output and an unresponsive AC. Despite checking the fuses, the issue persisted. A suggestion was made to inspect the wiring and connectors, particularly the plug connections to the climate control unit. Upon professional inspection, a faulty connector was identified and repaired, resolving the issue.

Thanks for the tip! Which connector was it on your Astra, and where was it located? I'm not sure where to start looking on the C4.

On the Astra, it was the main connector block going into the back of the climate control panel itself. I don't know the C4 layout, but check all of them if you can find any wiring diagrams. If you're not comfortable prodding around with electrics, I'd recommend getting it checked out by a professional. Might save you a bigger headache down the line.

You were spot on! I took it to a workshop, and it was indeed a faulty connector. They fixed the cable/plug connection and the HVAC system works again. Total cost was 95€.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my old 2012 Opel Astra. Turned out to be a dodgy connector. Have you checked the wiring and connectors to the climate control unit? Especially the plug connections. It can be a real pain to get to, but might be worth a look before you take it to a shop.
