Thanks for the quick reply! The speedometer seems fine, but now that you mention it, the odometer does seem to be stuck. So, you really think it's the ABS control unit itself?

Yes, based on your description, it sounds very likely. A defective control unit is a known issue that can cause these symptoms. The affected control unit is likely defective and the speed signal fault is very probably the cause of the ABS and traction control failures. I'd recommend getting it checked out by a workshop. I'm afraid a repair could cost you around 1000€.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on: the ABS control unit was indeed defective. Cost me about 1000€ to get it sorted. At least now the car is driving perfectly again!

I had similar symptoms in my C70. It sounds like it could be a faulty ABS control unit. When the speed signal goes haywire, it throws everything off. Does your speedometer act erratically or has your odometer stopped working?
