Impacted how? Do you mean, did it also overheat? I suspect the electric fan is impaired.

Yes, vehicle overheating was the symptom. Given the mileage and your suspicion of the electric fan and cooling system impairment, a workshop visit might be wise.

Thank you. The problem was indeed a defective plug connection, as suspected. Repair cost 95€.

I had a similar overheating issue with my Captiva. Check the electric motor. Has the engine cooling been impacted?
