Hey, I've got a 2009 Chevy Captiva diesel with 235k km giving me grief. I'm getting overheating, the check engine light's on, and there's coolant leaking under the car – looks like it's coming from the pressure cap. I suspect a control unit communication error. Thanks, that’s helpful. I booked it into a workshop. Turns out it was a defective cable connection, just like you suspected. Cost me 95€ to fix. Appreciate the advice!
