Chevrolet Colorado Lighting Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Chevrolet Colorado diesel is experiencing an electrical fault, with an error message indicating a lighting problem. The issue is suspected to be related to a defective turn signal lamp. A similar case with an Opel Insignia revealed a corroded connector at the turn signal lamp housing as the cause. The problem was resolved by checking and fixing the faulty cable/plug connection at the turn signal, confirmed and repaired by a workshop.

Interesting. Where exactly on your Opel Insignia was this connector located? I'll check my Colorado but any pointers on where to look would be great.

It was directly at the turn signal lamp housing, on the front left side. Honestly, given those symptoms, I would suggest a workshop visit before you start tearing things apart. It could be more complex.

Thank you for the advice! You were right. It was indeed a faulty cable/plug connection at the turn signal. Workshop confirmed and fixed it for 95€. Appreciate your help!

I had a similar issue with my Opel Insignia. Same symptoms: error message, lighting fault. In my case, it was a corroded connector to the indicator light. Have you checked the cables and connections?
