Chevrolet Sail diesel engine stalling and power loss
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Chevrolet Sail diesel is experiencing engine stalling at idle, reduced power, and an illuminated check engine light. The issue may be linked to a faulty rail pressure sensor. It is suggested to inspect the fuel rail and fuel injection system, as replacing the defective pressure sensor resolved similar symptoms for another owner.

Thanks for your input! Was your car exhibiting the same symptoms – stalling and reduced power? Did you get any specific error codes related to fuel injection?

Yes, exactly the same symptoms. I recommend taking it to a trusted workshop to have it checked. I was told that the pressure sensor was defective. That was it.

Thanks for the advice! That confirms my suspicions. I had the rail pressure sensor replaced, and it cost me 240€. Everything seems fine now!

I had a similar issue with my Sail. Is the rail pressure sensor signal faulty? That was the problem for me. Check your fuel rail and fuel injection system.
