Cima ABS failure
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Cima hybrid is experiencing ABS malfunction, with the ABS light on and traction control failing. The issue might be related to a speed signal fault in the transmission. Another owner with a similar problem found that the ABS control module was defective, suggesting that checking or replacing this module could be a potential solution. Booking a workshop appointment for diagnostics and possible repair is recommended.

When you say 'control unit,' do you mean the ABS control module, or something else? And did tests point directly to it?

Yeah, the ABS control module. I didn't do any tests myself, just took it straight to a workshop. They ran diagnostics and said the module was defective.

Understood. Sounds like my situation. Thanks for confirming. I'll book a workshop appointment to examine the control unit. I've been quoted around 1000€ for the repair. Thanks again!

I had something similar happen in my Cima. ABS light, traction control went bonkers. Did you check the control unit? That's what caused my issues.
