Summary of the thread
A 2014 Citroen DS4 with 229,047 km is experiencing poor engine performance and starting issues when cold. The initial suspicion is a faulty cold start injector. Fuel rail pressure, huh? How would I go about checking that? Is it something I can do myself, or am I better off taking it to a professional?

Honestly, with fuel pressure, it's best to leave it to a workshop unless you really know your way around engines. Could be a dodgy injector like you first thought. I went to the workshop with my Volvo in the end.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the shop and you were right, the cold start injector was defective. Cost me 515€ to replace, but it's running like new again!

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my old Volvo, but it was another injector. Have you checked the fuel rail pressure? Maybe that's the culprit?
