Clio MOST Bus Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Clio Hybrid is experiencing a complete failure of its audio system and navigation, with a diagnostic scan revealing a MOST bus fault error. The MOST bus is a fiber optic network connecting multimedia components, and a fault in one unit can disrupt the entire system. Diagnosing the specific faulty module typically requires professional diagnostic tools, as seen in a similar case where a faulty amplifier was identified and replaced by a workshop.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Thanks for the info! No other symptoms, just the radio and sat nav dead. The error memory points to a general MOST bus fault. How did you figure out which module was the problem?

Honestly, I didn't! Diagnosing MOST bus issues without the proper gear is a pain. I took it to a workshop. They have diagnostic tools that can isolate which control unit on the MOST bus is causing the problem. Turned out to be a faulty amplifier in my case. Cost a pretty penny to replace, about 1000€.

Ouch, 1000€! Thanks for the heads-up. I was hoping it was just a fuse, but I'll take it to a workshop then. I'll post the solution when I get it fixed.

Yeah, I had something similar in my Clio. The MOST bus, or Media Oriented Systems Transport bus, is a fiber optic network connecting the car's multimedia components. If one unit goes down, it can take the whole system with it. Any idea what's causing the fault, or any other symptoms?
