Thanks for the quick response! I did a quick visual inspection of the sensor, but I didn't check the plug connection thoroughly. Where exactly should I be looking for damaged cables or loose connections? Is it easy to access?

Thanks for the advice! I took your suggestion and had it checked out at a workshop. You were spot on – it was the cable or plug connection of the oil temperature sensor. They fixed it for 95€. Appreciate the help!

Hey! I had something similar happen with my CMAX. Those symptoms sound familiar. It's very possible it's the oil temp sensor. Did you check the wiring and connections? That's usually the first thing to look at.
