Yeah, error is stored in the error memory but I don't have the exact code right now. You think it's the chip tuning for sure? What did you do to fix it?

Can't say for sure without the code, but yeah, points to that. My issue was definitely the chip. If it's a dodgy third-party tune, I'd get it checked by a workshop that knows their stuff. Don't want to make things worse.

Appreciate the insight. Took it to a shop, faulty chip tuning was indeed the problem. Cost me 180€ to sort out. Thanks!

Crown Vic owner here. Sounds familiar. Did you get the error code read? Any idea what it says? I had similar symptoms after someone messed with my car computer.
