Thanks for the response. What's a healthy voltage range for this model's battery? Could a faulty seat motor also be the cause, or is a depleted battery more likely?

No worries, happy to help! A healthy battery should be around 12.6 volts at rest. Below 12.2 and you're getting into trouble. A faulty seat motor is possible, but less likely than a battery issue causing the motor to not receive enough power. Given the error code and that it's an electric seat, I'd bet on the battery first. It's tough to diagnose without proper tools, so if the battery checks out, I'd recommend a workshop. They can properly test the motor and wiring. I did the same with my old Astra; it was a corroded wire in the seat harness that I never would have found. Good luck!

Thanks for the assistance. I took the car to a workshop. They confirmed a heavily discharged battery. Replacement and labor cost 290€.

Sounds like a pain! I've seen similar electrical gremlins. A weak battery can mess with things. Have you checked the battery voltage? Has the car been sitting unused? That can drain the battery and cause issues with power-hungry accessories like the seats. Check the seat switch and harness connector, too. Wiggle them and see if anything happens!
