DS4 transport mode active
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Citroen DS4 Hybrid is experiencing a "transport mode active" message, leading to a general electrical malfunction and a non-functional navigation system. The issue might be related to a software glitch, as similar problems have been reported by others with the same model. Basic troubleshooting steps, such as checking the key fob battery and attempting engine starts, have not resolved the issue. It is suggested to visit a workshop for professional diagnosis and resolution, potentially confirming a software-related cause.

Thanks for the quick response! The battery hasn't been replaced recently, and I haven't had any low battery warnings. Was your navigation system also affected, and did the engine start normally when that message popped up? Were you able to fix the issue, and how?

Okay, strange, because my nav system went bonkers as well, but it was a new car. Yeah, the engine started, but something was def wrong. I didn’t manage to do anything and ended up going to the workshop with it. You know, the car electronics are such witchcraft! Better get the pros to look at it.

Thanks for confirming that it might be something similar. This is really helpful to avoid unnecessary repairs. I suspected a software issue from the beginning, and it's good to have a second opinion pointing in that direction. I will visit the workshop and hopefully, it'll be sorted out without costing me anything.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I've got a DS4 too, and I remember seeing something similar pop up after the car had been sitting for a while. I think it also happened when the battery was low? Did you recently replace your battery or anything? It could be a weird electronic thing. Let me know what happens!
