Epica Intermittent Ignition Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Chevrolet Epica diesel is experiencing intermittent ignition problems, including failure to start, shutting off, and running rough. The owner suspects issues with the ignition coil, starter, or possibly an overlooked ignition fuse. Another owner suggests checking the ignition switch, which might be faulty. After taking the car to a workshop, the problem is identified as a defective fuse related to the ignition switch, and the repair costs 52€.

Thanks! What was wrong with your ignition switch? Did you have to replace the whole thing?

I did replace the entire unit eventually. I'd take it to a reliable workshop to get it diagnosed properly, to be honest.

I took the car to a workshop, and it was a defective fuse related to the ignition switch, like I suspected. The repair was only 52€! Thanks for the advice!

I drive an Epica as well. I had similar symptoms and would check the ignition switch itself. It might be faulty.
