Thanks for the quick reply! Now that you mention it, the cold starts have been a bit rougher lately, and I think my fuel efficiency has decreased slightly. Did you end up replacing all the glow plugs, or just the faulty one?

In my case, the symptoms were identical - rough cold starts and the persistent preheating light. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend a visit to the workshop. They can properly diagnose the issue and tell you how many glow plugs actually need replacement.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience! I appreciate the advice. I'll take it to the workshop and have them check the glow plugs. The repair cost me 440€ Hopefully, that will solve the problem.

I had a similar problem with my Equinox. If the preheating lamp stays on and there's an error code, it's very likely a defective glow plug. Were you experiencing any cold start issues or engine misfires, especially when the weather got colder? Also, have you noticed any difference in fuel efficiency?
