Evanda Heated Mirrors Not Working
Summary of the thread
The heated mirrors on a 2000 Chevrolet Evanda are not functioning, with no warmth and an error code present. The initial suspicion is a bad cable or plug in the mirror heating circuit. After confirming the fuse is fine and both mirrors are affected, the issue is likely related to a wiring harness problem or the control module. The suggested solution is to have a professional workshop diagnose and repair the wiring harness, with an estimated cost of 95€.

Thanks! The fuse is fine. Both mirrors aren't working. Could one failure cause both to fail?

If both mirrors are out and the fuse is good, and you have an error code, then it is most likely a wiring harness issue, or the module that controls the mirrors. You could try testing the voltage at the mirror connector, but without proper tools, you'll be better off at a workshop.

Thanks, I think you're right. I'm taking it to a shop. They think it's a damaged wiring harness section and estimate about 95€ to fix.

Sounds like a common issue. Have you checked the fuse for the mirror heaters? Sometimes it's that simple. Also, do both mirrors not work, or just one?
