Evanda Lean Running Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Chevrolet Evanda is experiencing lean running, reduced power, a check engine light, and rough acceleration. Possible causes include issues with the air-fuel ratio, EGR valve, throttle body, intake manifold, or spark plugs. A defective injection valve or injector is identified as a likely cause of the problem. It is recommended to have the injectors checked at a workshop to resolve the issue.

Mileage is at 59811 km. I haven't checked those yet. Could a defective injection valve/injector really cause all these issues? Would that explain the lean running?

Yes, a defective injector could definitely be the culprit. It sounds like that's the most likely cause. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop. Cost me about 515€, but sorted the problem out completely.

Thanks for the tip! I'll take it to the shop and have them check the injection valve/injectors. Sounds like that's the best bet. Appreciate the help!

I had similar issues with my Evanda, though I didn't check the build year. Reduced engine power and jerking are definitely not fun. Have you checked the throttle body or intake manifold for any blockages? Or maybe even the spark plugs? What's the mileage?
