No flickering or static, it just went silent. Could it be faulty wiring somewhere?

Could be wiring, but it’s more likely a defective display, given the symptoms. The error code pretty much confirms it. Best bet is to have a workshop check it.

Thanks for the advice! The workshop confirmed the display was defective. The repair cost 725€ but the issue is now solved.

Sounds like the head unit might be the culprit. Have you noticed any flickering or static noise before it died completely?
