Functionality brake system

The brake in a car is the main safety system to slow or stop the vehicle. It works by using hydraulic or mechanical force to create friction between the brake pads and the brake discs. When the driver depresses the brake pedal, pressure is transferred to the braking system and the brake pads are forced against the rotating brake discs.

Modern cars are often equipped with anti-lock braking systems (ABS), which prevent the wheels from locking and allow the driver to maintain control of the vehicle during braking.
