Grandland X Combustion Misfires
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Vauxhall Grandland X with 39,501 km is experiencing combustion misfires, rough engine performance, and a check engine light, accompanied by jerking during acceleration and reduced engine power. The issue is likely due to a defective fuel injector, which affects fuel delivery and throttle response. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle inspected and repaired at a workshop, as confirmed by another owner who experienced similar symptoms and resolved the issue by replacing the faulty injector.

Throttle response is pretty bad, yeah. What exactly went wrong with your injector? And did you get all those same symptoms?

Yeah, all the same symptoms. Turned out the injector was defective and not spraying fuel properly. I tried a few things myself, but honestly, you're best off getting it checked by a workshop. Could be a dodgy sensor too, but those misfires point towards fuel delivery issues. Cost me around 515€ all in to get sorted at the garage.

Thanks for the info! I took it to a local garage, and you were spot on - defective injector. All fixed now!

Sounds rough. I've got a Grandland X myself, though a bit older, and that sounds a lot like what happened when my injection valve went kaput. Is the throttle response particularly bad?
