Juke Boost Pressure Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Nissan Juke with 210,823 km is experiencing a check engine light, reduced power, poor response, and increased fuel consumption, suspected to be a boost pressure control fault. Initial checks for leaks in hoses and the intercooler showed no issues. Suggestions included listening for vacuum leaks, monitoring boost pressure, and checking the boost solenoid or pressure sensor. Ultimately, a workshop diagnosis revealed a defective vacuum switching valve, which was repaired for 140€.

Thanks for the quick reply. I haven't monitored boost pressure directly, but considered the boost solenoid. Where is the solenoid located, and how can I test it?

On my Juke, the boost solenoid was hard to access, located low down near the turbocharger. Given your symptoms and mileage, a workshop diagnosis of the vacuum system might be best. I suspect a defective vacuum switching valve.

Appreciate the insight. Took it to a workshop, and it was a defective vacuum switching valve. The repair cost 140€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I also own a Juke and had similar symptoms. Listen for hissing sounds indicating a vacuum leak. Have you monitored boost pressure? A faulty boost solenoid or pressure sensor could also cause this.
