Good point about the socket, hadn't considered that. It's only happening on the right side. So what was the solution for you in the end? Was it also a cable issue like I suspect?

Turns out it was a bad connection, like you guessed. I tried cleaning the contacts, but no luck. Honestly, after messing with it for a bit, I just took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. Probably best to just get it checked professionally.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate you sharing your experience. Ended up taking it in as you suggested. They confirmed it was indeed a cable issue, fixed it for 95€. All good now.

I had something similar happen on my Kalos. Same error message and lighting fault. Did you check the bulb socket itself for any corrosion or damage? That was my first thought, but it didn't fix the issue. Is it just one side that's failing, or both?
