Kangoo Brake Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Renault Kangoo electric vehicle is experiencing brake issues, with the pedal giving strange feedback, possibly due to worn brake pads or undervoltage affecting the hydraulic brakes. Suggestions include checking the brake fluid level and inspecting the brake rotors. Ultimately, the problem was confirmed to be completely worn brake pads, which were replaced along with a rotor resurface to resolve the issue.

Brake fluid is fine, I checked it recently. I'm more concerned about the squeaky brakes being related to a potential electrical fault affecting the braking system. Any experience with that?

No, but those symptoms sound familiar. I would suggest going to a workshop.

Indeed, you were right. Workshop confirmed the brake pads were completely worn, affecting the braking performance. New pads and a rotor resurface later, the cost was 240€ Thanks for the pointers!

I had something similar with my Kangoo. Check your brake fluid level, might be low. Also, when was the last time you checked the brake rotors?
