Kicks Charge Air Temperature Sensor Error
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Nissan Kicks is experiencing a charge air temperature sensor error, resulting in a check engine light, power loss, and a whistling noise during acceleration. The issue is suspected to be related to the airflow sensor. A similar past issue with another vehicle suggested checking the cable and plug connection to the sensor. Upon inspection at a workshop, a faulty connection on the charge air temperature sensor was identified and repaired, resolving the problem.

Thanks! When you say cable and plug, do you mean the wiring harness connected to the charge air temperature sensor itself? Was it visibly damaged, or was it more of a corrosion issue?

Yeah, the connector for the sensor itself. Couldn't see any damage, but the connection was faulty. Ended up taking it to a workshop to fix it.

Good call! Took it to the shop, and it was a dodgy connection on the charge air temp sensor. 95€ later, and it's running like new! Thanks a million for pointing me in the right direction!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Opel Corsa, though it wasn't exactly the same sensor. Check the cable and plug connection. That's where my problem was.
