The fuel gauge seems to jump around a bit, especially when the tank isn't full. And yeah, the error comes back pretty quickly, usually within a day or so after I clear it. Any thoughts on what I can check myself?

Sounds like a faulty sensor is the likely culprit, especially with the stalling issue. Also, check the sensor fuse, if equipped. While you could try troubleshooting wiring, given the symptoms, your best bet is probably to take it to a workshop. Should be a pretty straightforward fix.

I took it to a shop, and you were spot on! It was a bad fuse related to the fuel level sensor. They replaced it, cleared the code, and so far, so good! Cost me about 52€, which I'm happy with. Hopefully, that's the end of it!

Fuel level sensor issues can be tricky. Does the fuel gauge seem to be reading correctly? Does the error pop up immediately after clearing it, or does it take some time?
