It wasn't good. Luckily, I caught it before any catastrophic damage. Get it to a workshop ASAP to have them assess the damage. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I took your advice and visited a trusted workshop. It turned out the maintenance interval was exceeded, which led to oil sludge. After an oil change and engine flush, the issue seems resolved. The repair cost 165€.

I had a similar issue with my LX, though I didn't catch it as early. Check your maintenance records. Could your service interval have been exceeded? That can cause serious oil sludge and pressure problems.
