Hey, thanks for your reply! That's exactly the kind of feedback I needed. I can see I should definitely go to the garage and get it checked out. I assume the repair wasn't exactly cheap, was it? Do you happen to remember how much you paid for it? And has anything else come up since the repair? Thanks and best regards!

Hey, no problem, that's what we're here for! You're right, it wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was worth it. I paid €155 to repair the defective cable connection to the sensor. Since I've had the car at the mechanic, communication with the steering angle sensor has been working perfectly again. So, take it to the garage before it gets worse! Best regards!

Hey, I drive a 2012 Ford Fiesta and had a similar problem. It turned out that the cable connection to my sensor was faulty. My airbag warning light was also active and the messages on the display went up. It was no small matter, that's for sure. But for me it was a matter of safety so I had it repaired immediately. I hope my experience helps you a little. But be sure to have it checked before it becomes a major problem. Regards.
