Matiz massage seat switch issue
Summary of the thread
The massage seat switch in a 2006 Chevrolet Matiz is not functioning, with diagnostics indicating a possible defective cable or plug. The issue may involve unresponsive wiring or connectors, particularly around the yellow connector near the seat motor. While initial attempts to resolve the problem, such as checking fuses and manipulating wires, have been unsuccessful, consulting a qualified technician is recommended for a definitive fix.

Yes, the switch is completely unresponsive. I did check the fuses, and they appear to be in good order. When you mention 'wiggling wires,' could you be more specific? Which wires were you manipulating, and did you observe any particular connectors or areas of concern?

Okay, so mine was totally dead too. Wiggling the wires was a shot in the dark, honestly. I think it was the yellow connector under the seat, near the motor. Didn't fix it, though. Ended up biting the bullet and taking it to a workshop. Saved myself a headache.

I appreciate you sharing your experience. It seems that further troubleshooting on my end may be futile. Given the potential complexity and the repair cost being approximately 95€, I will likely take your advice and consult a qualified technician to address the issue.

Oh, I had the same problem with my Matiz! Drove me nuts. The seat switch thing, right? Does it just not turn on at all? I remember checking all the fuses first, but no luck. Then I started wiggling wires under the seat... Did you try that?
