Thanks for the insight. I haven't checked those specifically. Are you saying the suspension or drivetrain could actually cause a smartphone connection issue? I'm not quite seeing the link there.

It seems unusual, I know, but when I had similar electrical faults, I was eventually told that it may have caused the smartphone connection issue. I would strongly suggest having it checked by a workshop.

Appreciate the advice. I booked it in. Turns out it was a minor electrical fault related to the media system's grounding. Cost me 45€ to fix. Thanks again!

I own a Matiz too. If you're experiencing connectivity problems along with a stored error, there is a good chance that your electrical system might be malfunctioning. Have you checked the suspension, ignition system, or drivetrain? There may be a connection.
