Thanks, I've tried that and a factory reset on the head unit, but it's still happening. What error codes did you see?

I didn't check for error codes, but it sounds like your problem may be more involved than mine was. Might be time to visit a workshop with the right diagnostic tools.

I appreciate your input. I scheduled an appointment, and the issue was resolved with a Bluetooth module firmware revision and recalibration. Cost me 45€.

I drive a Maxima too and I had something similar happen after an OS revision on my phone. Have you tried deleting the car from your phone's bluetooth settings and then re-pairing?
