Menlo AC Not Cooling
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Chevy Menlo's AC system stopped working, failing to cool or even switch on. Possible causes include a faulty AC pressure switch, which can prevent the system from activating to protect the compressor, or issues with the blower motor or valves. Checking the pressure switch near the condenser is suggested, but a visit to a workshop may be necessary, especially if under warranty, as valve failures are a known issue.

Where exactly is the AC pressure switch located? And is there any way to test it without special tools?

It's usually near the condenser, you can try finding it online, there should be guides with schematics. Honestly, given the symptoms, it really could be the valves as well. If you have warranty I would take it to the workshop. My local shop said that these valves tend to fail sometimes and that it's a known issue. It ended up costing me around 1000€.

Okay, thanks for the info! I'll check the pressure switch, but sounds like a trip to the shop might be in order. At least I have some idea of what to tell them to look for now. Thanks again!

I had a similar problem with my Menlo, though not sure of the year. Check the AC pressure switch. Sometimes a bad switch will prevent the whole system from kicking on to protect the compressor. Could also be the blower motor, but if it's not even trying to start, the switch is more likely.
