Mercedes CLA Diesel Central Locking Failure

I checked the fuses in the fuse box that seemed relevant, but there are so many! Is there a specific fuse I should be focusing on? It's affecting all the door locks. None of them are working with the remote locking or the keyless entry. Could it be the main computer?

Since it's all the doors, a single blown fuse is less likely, though not impossible. A computer issue could be the culprit, but it's less common than a wiring problem. The error code pointing to a cable or plug connection is probably more likely. Given the complexity of modern security systems and keyless entry, it's probably best to get it checked out by a workshop. They can properly diagnose the specific cable or connection.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. It was a defective plug connection. They replaced it, cleared the error memory, and now the central locking is working again. Cost me 95€.

That's tricky. When the central locking system goes haywire, it can be a headache. The error memory is a good place to start. Have you checked the fuses for the door locks and security system? A blown fuse can cause weird issues. Is it affecting all the doors, or just one? A defective cable or plug connection, as the error suggests, can be hard to pinpoint without diagnostic tools.
