Mercedes ML MOST Bus Fault Experience
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Mercedes ML hybrid is experiencing a MOST bus fault, leading to a complete failure of the audio system and navigation, along with an error code in the system memory. The issue is suspected to be caused by a faulty module on the bus, specifically the amplifier module, as confirmed by another owner with a similar problem. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle checked by a professional to accurately diagnose and replace the faulty module, avoiding unnecessary expenses.

I've done some diagnostics and have a suspect module. Before I replace it, could you tell me which module failed for you, and if you saw any other weird things with the car's electronics or the bus?

The amplifier module was the problem in my case. I didn't see anything else at first, but these car electronics are so linked now that it's better to get it checked by a pro. Swapping parts without testing can get pricey quick. I'd recommend a good shop.

Thanks for the info. I took it to a shop like you said. It was the amplifier module, just like you had. Cost me 1000€. I appreciate the help.

I had something similar happen with my ML audio. It ended up being a bad control unit on the bus. Do you have a way to check which module isn't responding and might be the problem?
