Micra Mixture Prep Error
Summary of the thread
A 2003 diesel Micra is experiencing a mixture preparation error, leading to reduced power, a check engine light, rough running, jerking during acceleration, and occasional stalling when idling. Possible causes include issues with the throttle body, spark plugs, air-fuel ratio, mass airflow sensor, oxygen sensor, or injection valve. The solution involved checking the injection valves and injectors at a workshop, which resolved the problem.

Thanks! You mentioned the injection valve. What symptoms made you think it was that?

Yeah, I had the same jerking and stalling. It's tough to say for sure without the right gear. I'd get the injection valves and injectors checked at a workshop. That's what I did.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to a workshop, and it was the injection valve/injector. Cost 515€ for parts and labor. Appreciate the help!

I had similar symptoms on my Micra. Did you check the air-fuel ratio or the mass airflow sensor? Could also be the oxygen sensor. Is it possibly the injection valve?
