Moco rail pressure sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Nissan Moco owner experienced issues with the check engine light, engine stalling at idle, and reduced power, particularly uphill. An OBD scan indicated a faulty rail pressure sensor signal. Another Moco owner confirmed having a similar problem, which was resolved by replacing the defective rail pressure sensor. The solution involved taking the car to a workshop for sensor replacement, which successfully resolved the issues.

Yeah, it's a pretty rough stall. Almost feels like it's going to completely die. Was your issue the same sensor?

Yep, same sensor. I messed with it for ages trying to diagnose, but honestly, I'd just get it to a workshop. Save yourself the headache.

Thanks for the heads up! Took it to a shop and you were spot on - rail pressure sensor was defective. New sensor fitted and all is well. Cost me 240€, but worth it to have the car running smoothly again!

Hey! I have a Moco too. Had something similar happen a while back. Is it rough when it stalls? Like a proper shudder?
