Hi, I have a 2011 Ford Mondeo with a diesel engine and 87046 km on the clock. I'm getting an error related to the solar sensor. The error memory has recorded this and the heating output feels too low. I suspect it might be a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced something similar? Yep, had a similar issue with my Mondeo. The daylight sensor was causing issues with the climate control. Did you check the sensor itself for any visible damage?

Sounds familiar. I couldn't figure it out myself. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They were able to pinpoint the exact issue with the sensor circuit and fix the connection.
