Having issues with my 2011 Nissan Murano diesel. It's getting harder to start, feels like it's lost power on acceleration, and I've got an error message. I'm thinking it might be the camshaft sensor or a bad connection. Anyone else run into this?

I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra. Same symptoms: hard starts, loss of power, and a check engine light. Was it the camshaft position sensor for you too?

Yes, the error message pointed to the camshaft position sensor. After replacing it, the problem was solved. To be honest, I brought it to a workshop to have it checked and they recommended replacing the sensor. Based on your description of the problem I recommend the same.
