Murano Tire Pressure Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Nissan Murano owner is experiencing a persistent tire pressure warning light despite confirming that the tire pressures are correct. The issue is likely due to a faulty tire pressure sensor, possibly because the sensor battery is dead after several years of use. Suggested solutions include checking the spare tire pressure, resetting the TPMS, and ultimately visiting a workshop for sensor replacement and reprogramming if the problem persists.

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, I checked the spare, and it's at the correct pressure. I also tried resetting the TPMS through the settings, but the error keeps coming back after a few minutes of driving. Any other ideas?

Okay, if the reset didn't work and the pressures are all good, it's almost certainly a sensor issue. Most likely the sensor battery is dead, which is common after this many years. I had the same problem. After trying everything else, I just took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was a dead sensor. Cost me about 280€ to get it replaced and programmed. Honestly, save yourself the headache and get it checked out. It's probably not worth messing with yourself unless you have the diagnostic tools.

Thanks a lot for the insight! Sounds like it's time to bite the bullet and head to the workshop. Good to know what to expect. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar! I've got a Murano too, and I had a similar TPMS issue last year. The system is super sensitive. First, did you check all the tires, including the spare? Sometimes the spare can trigger the warning if it's low. Also, have you tried resetting the TPMS via the onboard computer? It might just need a recalibration.
