Nissan Cube AC and Temperature Sensor Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Nissan Cube is experiencing issues with the AC not turning on and an error message indicating a defective temperature sensor on the heat exchanger. The problem might be due to a faulty AC control unit, as replacing the temperature sensor did not resolve the issue for another owner with a similar problem. Checking sensor connections, wiring, and refrigerant levels are suggested initial steps, but professional repair may be necessary if these do not resolve the issue.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Thanks for the tip! The connections look good, and the refrigerant level seems okay. When you had this, did the error message specifically mention the temperature sensor, or was it more general? Was replacing the AC control unit difficult?

Yes, the error code also pointed to the temperature sensor at first. But after I replaced it and the problem continued, I went to a workshop. The error code was still there after the sensor replacement, and it turned out the AC control unit was faulty.

Ugh, that's what I was afraid of. Thanks for confirming what I suspected. I guess I'm taking it to the shop then. They quoted me around 980€, hopefully, that fixes it.

I have the same model and had a similar AC problem last year. Check the sensor connections and wiring first. Also, have you checked the refrigerant level? A low charge can cause similar issues.
