Nissan Cube transmission issues
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Nissan Cube diesel is experiencing transmission issues, with the transmission indicator and check engine light on, and the vehicle is in emergency mode with abnormal shifting, slipping, and grinding. Possible causes include a defective radiator oil pressure, faulty cable or plug, oil cooler issues, coolant leak, or the need for radiator repair. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by addressing a faulty pressure sensor, suggesting that checking and possibly replacing the sensor could be a solution.

Seriously? Same symptoms with a different car, and it was the pressure? Should I skip the transmission and only check the pressure gauge first?

Not exactly the same car, but the symptoms and the pressure issue were similar. I'd suggest a trusted workshop. A faulty pressure sensor triggered it for me.

Thanks! I checked it out, and it looks like I need to go to the workshop to replace the sensor, like you said. I'll let you know how it goes.

Sounds familiar! I had similar symptoms on my old Volvo V70 (petrol), and radiator pressure was a key factor. Did you check the pressure gauge?
