Nissan Note transmission fault
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Nissan Note diesel experienced transmission issues, with warning lights on and the transmission stuck in emergency mode. The problem was traced to an error related to the radiator oil pressure, potentially caused by a bad cable or plug. After checking various components, it was confirmed that a defective cable connection was the cause, and fixing it resolved the issue.

Coolant level seems okay, but I'll double-check for mixing. Where is the oil cooler located on the Note? I'm not 100% sure about the pressure gauge; could that be throwing everything off?

The oil cooler is usually attached to the radiator. Given the error code and symptoms, I still suspect a wiring issue. If you are unsure about these parts, a visit to the workshop is recommended to confirm. They should be able to diagnose the issue accurately.

It WAS a defective cable connection, just like the error code suggested! 95€ later, it's fixed. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I had something similar happen with my Note. Is the radiator coolant level normal? Check for any signs of coolant in the oil or vice versa. Maybe your oil cooler is failing? Are you sure the pressure gauge is working correctly?
