Corrosion... Hmm, hadn't thought about that specifically. I gave the connectors a visual once-over, but didn't really focus on corrosion. Was it obvious when you found it? Did cleaning it solve everything, or was there more to it?

It wasn't super obvious, but there was some green gunk in the connector. Cleaning it helped a bit, but the problem kept coming back. Eventually, I just gave up and took it to a workshop. Best 95€ I ever spent.

Green gunk, eh? Okay, I'll give those connectors a serious scrub-down and see what happens. But sounds like I'm heading for the shop anyway. Thanks for the heads-up. Appreciate the advice!

Sounds familiar... I had similar weirdness with my Pino. Gear selection display went haywire, and the cruise control was a no-go. Error memory was full of codes. Did you check the connector itself for corrosion or loose pins?
