Nissan Roox cold start injector issue
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Nissan Roox is experiencing poor engine performance during cold starts, potentially due to a faulty cold start injector. The issue may be related to a problem with the fuel injector, such as improper fuel spraying or clogging. A suggested solution is to conduct an injector test at a workshop to diagnose and confirm the problem, which can lead to necessary repairs.

Thanks. How did you determine it was the injector specifically? Did you perform any tests?

I took it to a shop. They ran an injector test. Turns out, one of the injectors was dribbling fuel instead of spraying it properly. Best to get it checked; could save you a headache!

Appreciate the insight. I'll take it to a workshop for an injector test. They confirmed the injector was defective, and the repair cost me 515€. Thanks again!

Hey! I had a similar problem with my Nissan Note. Rough idle on cold starts, felt like the engine was about to stall. Have you checked the fuel rail pressure? It could be a faulty injector, like a clogged artery in your car's fuel system!
