Nissan Sentra Low Coolant
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Nissan Sentra hybrid displayed a check engine light with an error indicating low coolant. Upon inspection, the coolant level was indeed low. The issue was identified as a leak near the water pump, which was not immediately obvious. The suggested solution was to inspect for leaks around the water pump, radiator hoses, and radiator cap, and ultimately, the leak was fixed at a workshop.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Hmm, haven't seen any obvious leaks, but I'll check again. Where exactly should I be looking around the water pump? And what about the coolant reservoir?

For me it was hard to spot at first, small leak near the water pump. If you don't see anything obvious, I would probably get it checked out. It cost me 52€, but better than cooking the engine!

Thanks for the advice! I'll take a closer look and probably take it to a workshop. Turns out you were right, it was a leak near the water pump. Got it fixed!

Yo, I had the same problem with my old 2016 Opel Astra! Light came on, same error. Have you checked for any leaks around the water pump or radiator hoses? Maybe even the radiator cap? Engine overheating at all?
